Next Christmas is a film about a young woman’s love, and the war, which alters the course of her life. Every Christmas the woman waits for her husband to return from the war, not accepting the fact that he has died.
The film was meant to be part of a trilogy named Faces of War (Next Christmas, The Hero and The Soldier). The lack of funding, however, brought the filming of the second part to an untimely halt, and the trilogy was never completed.
