After Us, the Flood had its world premiere at the prestigious Warsaw International Film Festival in the Free Spirit competition in October 2024. Since then, the film has received the main prize, the Silver Méliès, in its competition at the Trieste Science+Fiction Film Festival in Italy.

In addition to its impressive international success, After Us, the Flood has been recognized in Finland with two Jussi Award nominations. Elias Westerberg received an acting nomination for his breakthrough role of the year, and Vesa Jokinen from Troll VFX for visual effects. The Jussi Awards will be presented in March 2025. Screenwriter Ossi Hakala was also nominated for the Sylvi Award for the best Finnish screenplay 2024.

The film stars Elias Westerberg, Linnea Leino, Tuomas Nilsson, Kasperi Kola, Petteri Summanen, Antti Reini, Pihla Penttinen, Jari Salmi, Tobias Zilliacus, Jemina Sillanpää, Robert Enckell, Hannu-Pekka Björkman, Hugo Komaro, and Paavo Westerberg.
